The moment you ALL have been waiting for!

SO, I finally felt up to taking a mug shot....

this is me and baby in all our glory! :)
So, I had my first pregnancy breakdown this week. I had a chance to reevaluate my situation and find a way to calm myself down. I found 3 things that have helped me out:
1) Talk to your friends and family about how you feel (even if the phone call lasts 53 minutes)
2) Buy a book that can give you lots of great answers (in my case I got "What to Expect When Your Expecting")
3) Write in a journal (sometimes no one really wants to hear you rant everyday, so just get it out by writing it in a book that no one will ever read but that makes you feel better)
These steps really helped me come to grips with my insanity!
OH, and don't forget GOD. Talking to Him really helps cuz then you sleep better!!!

Isn't it about...Time?

Last Sunday while sitting in church Jeremiah and I began our 2 hour process of choosing a name for baby. After realizing that "baby" would not be a good name to grow up using, we worked out a way to be fair in choosing our childs name.

Since we were in church we could not talk or fight about any particular name....we silently took turns listing our favoriate baby girl and boy names. After we could not list any more, we then began taking turns marking off the names that we were not so fond of. We got the names down to one on each gender side. And in honor of the new American Idol rule (where the judges can save someone from elimination) we were each able to "save" one girl and one boy name.

This brought us back up to 6 names. To make the final decision we had to add middle names and that narrowed down the final pick.

And those two final names are....

Endry Alan & Gwendolyn Rose

A for Effort!

So, I have decided that I am going to be a good mom and teach my children...But Jeremiah and I have had many conversations about the "lack of reality" in teaching kids these days. So, with a little help from my family, I am going to create some teaching tools that involve REAL things. My first task is going to be to create an Alphabet book using real photographs. I am only just now beginning, but I am excited and I think this will give me something to focus my artistic talent and help me feel more baby inspired!

Here is an example...

D is for Duck
E is for Eye
I think I might add colors in at the end too...
OH, how I miss projects!

GRADUATION!

Coming sooner than expected....graduation for me and Kezia is almost here!
This is a digital view of our graduation announcements.
Designed by Kintype Photography. :)

front...
back!
We are so excited to finally be done with school...well, Kezia will go on to KSU in Interior Design and I will begin employment for my baby....wait, scratch that. I mean I will use images of my baby to drumm up new business and build up my business. (yes, that sounds much better)
We would be happy to share the fun with everyone but we have a small window of time before Kezia goes up to AK for the summer. So, if you are wanting to celebrate then give me a call cuz I am willing to celebrate over a scheduled date that involves food!

Our Home

Here are a few images of our new home!
Now, as Miguel taught me..."You have to excuse the mess."

-this is our dinning room (of course with the Carter siblings watching over us)

-this is the dinning room, moving into the living room...

-and this is the living room (complete with 24 on the TV)
Krista, do you see your plants? They are still alive.

Now we move into the Office/Studio:
Once again, excuse the mess...we just now got the curtins and the backdrops up...now I get to work on getting the stuff arranged.
-this is the full view of the room

-this is the view of the closet that is still in progress of holding all my Kintype Photography stuff.

-and this is the beginings of the studio part!

And finally we enter our bedroom.
Please, excuse the sleeping man.

-this is a small view of our room cuz Jeremiah was sleeping when I wanted to take pictures

-and this is our awesome closet! We had to put a lamp in there cuz the overhead light is not fixed yet.

And that is the messy tour of our place. I will do an after tour of the house when we get it all done...you still have not seen the bathroom or the baby's room! You will just have to wait and see.
