4 Year Anniversary!

Jeremiah and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on December 9th. We went out to eat at the Golden Dragon (on Kansas) did a little bit of holiday shopping and saw "the Other Guys" (with Will Ferrell and Mark Walburg). Then we went to Jer's parents house to pick up the kid...and play a little bit of Wii. :)

Endry got to spend time with Grandma NaeNae...playing with her CPAP hoses!

We had a great time spending several hours just the two of us...and cant wait until next year when we get to do it again!

Christmas Never Looked So Good!

If you have never tried Shutterfly for printing your favorite photos...then you really should.
They offer a wide range of templates, easy to use website and reasonable prices.
The first time I ever tried Shutterfly I crated a photo book of my wedding and I loved it, so I went on to order cards and even basic 4x6 prints. They really do a good job on printing and I am a sucker for lots and lots of choices.

Companies like Shutterfly are wonderful for the average consumer who doesn't normally use a printing studio or have the extra cash to higher a Professional Photographer or Designer...but still want that "professional" look.

With the Holidays just around the corner what a great time to run out and get a cute snapshot of your family or even just your little ones, plug it in to one of their super cute templates ( http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/christmas-photo-cards) click to pay and you are done!

Here are a few of my favorite templates....

The great thing is that you can also order other stuff like Calendars (http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars), Mugs (http://www.shutterfly.com/photo-gifts/photo-mugs), and lots of other great gifts!

Black Friday is My Favorite Shopping Day!

I know that most people think if Black Friday as huge crowds of people running around, tearing things off the shelves and pushing other customers around. However, I see it as a very energized shopping experience.

The first time I went to Wal-Mart on Black Friday was about 4 years ago. I was a bit tired...at 5am...and was expecting all of the above to happen. Then I realized that the people that go early and have planned ahead were very nice and really funny at times. The people who would show up 10min before everything let loose and had no clue where anything was, nor did they have enough people to help them get all that they wanted were the crazy people! And I could understand why! The were counting on getting everything on their list and if they didnt then "Christmas was ruined"....and with that kind of attitude, it would be!

I have found that the more prepared I am and the less attached I am to the sale items the better I feel about being in the midst of the holiday buzz.

And so, to all you Black Friday goers I wish you happy hunting and zero killing this season.

Transplant

Don't you just hate the person who took this photo?!?!

I mean don't you just want to transplant yourself into this scene?! It is awesome...all green and lush and yet foggy and mysterious. I imagine it cool but not cold, and that I would be riding in a horse drawn covered wagon...like from the renaissance period. And I would be dressed in a really awesome getup, cuz I would be a real live princess. That would be sweet!

What do you see?

Fall is here

Kezia and I decided to rake some leaves and let Endry play in them for the first time! He was a bit apprehensive at first but then he loved it when I threw the leaves up and they fell down on him. Fall is here!

Kansas City Temple - Feeding the Workers

We went to the KC Temple site to show the workers how much we appreciate their hard work! We brought them chili, corn bread, chicken salad sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, veggies, cookies, and brownies. It was quite a spread and they were happy to partake.

Birthday Boy!

Endry had a great time at his birthday party! He loved all the attention and new toys....even though he didnt really like the cake (too sweet, I am sure he would have eaten a whole hot dog if he had that instead :))
I can hardly believe that he is ONE!
